[Single] Kenny Hoopla – “Sickness”

Milwaukee artist Kenny Hoopla has been building up one hell of a profile with a steady supply of angsty and hypnotic singles. Linking up with producer taxpurposes (the two have a batch of tracks available to the public), the new single “Sickness” might be the pair’s finest yet. If you need more from Kenny Hoopla and taxpurposes, be sure to check out their video for “Waves”, which dropped last summer.

[Single] Kelvo – “Moneyman”

Earlier this year, we talked about the collaborative heat between UK rapper Kelvo and US producer Joe Nora. The two are back for another hazy hit, “Moneyman.” Feeling like a cloud of loud, this is one to turn on when you get home from work and need to relax. About as chill as it gets. CloudRap2k18. Keep an eye out for more from Kelvo, who is prepping his tape, and Nora, who is prepping like five projects.

Rap trio is back in rare form with their new single “Pre Season.” After a brief hiatus, the Birmingham group hone in on their patented flows, their strong ear for production, and their unabashed lyrics. Both aggressive and energetic, this drum-laden track (produced by Anthem Beats) is the definition of the talent of K.L.U.B. Monsta. It acts as their manifesto, a testament, an appetizer. With KENXL (one of the best directors in the Southeast) behind the lens, K.L.U.B. Monsta delivers a cryptic but prime view of how they run the city in the visual for “PRE SEASON”. Shot near some of the alleys and railways of Birmingham, KENXL captures the energy of the chase as K.L.U.B. Monsta mobs through the city unknown if they are the hunted or the hunter. “PRE SEASON” is the first visual off K.L.U.B. Monsta’s upcoming debut album When Gawd Ready. This is simply a taste of whats to come for the talented Birmingham group.

[Single] BB Sun + Nedarb – “Don’t Blab”

The LA rapper and producer BB Sun aka Bolo Nef just released the single “Don’t Blab”. The song comes produced by BB Sun with a guest feature from fellow LA artist Nedarb. Rather than being behind the boards, Nedarb handles his own on the vocal tip, providing an energized trap experience, one fitting for all of the UDF fans, old and new.

If you need more from BB Sun, be sure to check out his solo single “Goldeen” from last month.

[SINGLE] Qari – “Revenge” [Prod. Cangelosi & Mulatto]

One of my favorite Chicago rappers to keep an eye out for is Qari. Formerly of the now defunct Hurt Everybody, Qari has spent 2017 stepping out on his own. He started the year with Space Jam, a joint EP with producer Mulatto, and now the two are back with the single “Revenge”. It’s the lead single for Qari’s upcoming EP, one that is right around the corner.

[SINGLE] Martin $ky – “Right Place”

Martin Sky is preparing to release something special right around the corner. His album Stay True is to be released on October 26. For now, you can stream and enjoy the lead single “Right Place”, a thumping instrumental taking you off into the night. If you need more, be sure to check out the loosie “Type Shit”, an instrumental off of Martin’s side account, properly known as Martini Glass.

[SINGLE] CRASHprez – “Watch This” (Prod. BoatHouse)

This is a one-way ticket to a bar fight. Minnesota-based MC CRASHprez unleashes with “Watch This” featuring fellow rapper Student1. Both go in on the BoatHouse production. “Lost my mind, found God in the mosh pit.” This shit will rip your home in half. If you need more from CRASHprez, check out the two minute whirlwind “FASCISTS DON’T CRY”, which was released last month.

[Single] LUCKI – YOU CALLED ME (Prod. 16YROLD & YUNGLUNCHBOX)

Lucki kickstarted the summer with the 18 song project Watch My Back. With production from Clams Casino, Plu2o Nash, Grimm Doza, and more, the project was perfect for the June and July heat. Just last month, he released another heater in the form of “You Called Me” which comes produced by 16YROLD and YUNGLUNCHBOX. It’s a two minute smoke break, one I promise you desperately need.
