[Singles] Souly Had x Purpdogg

It’s time to get caught up with the work between producer Purpdogg and vocalist Souly Had. The two have released a batch of track in the last half year, spanning between hip-hop and R&B. “Sandman” cleverly flips the famous bubblegum pop track, while their newest, “Young and Dumb”, is a bar-heavy love narrative. Don’t sleep on these two.

[Mixtape] Leaf Set – FILM

Are you up to speed with the Set? The Illinois collective Leaf Set released a twelve track project back in December known as Film. With different pieces of art for every track, it feels like a slideshow in your mind, spanning across genres and time. Step inside with caution, step inside with dilated eyes.

[Mixtape] ZMoney & ChaseTheMoney – ZTM

It’s been out for a couple of months, but it’s necessary that we talk about this ZMoney tape right now. The seven song project is fully produced by ChaseTheMoney and features heater after heater. The standout here is “Look Up” with Chicago rapper Valee. Enjoy the video above and the full project below. Stay awake forever.

[Singles] Catching up with BB Sun

BB SUN has released a batch of tracks in the last few weeks and they’re all worth your while. With two tracks featuring Nedarb (one of which is a Lil Peep tribute), all five of the songs demand your time. The most recent is the heavy “Air it Out” with Antwon and Martin Unruly while a personal favorite is “Rental Car” which feels like a clouded night journey. UDF.

[Album] HM Surf – Waterbed

Twenty three beats courtesy of Hm Surf. Based out of Oslo, the Norwegian producer came correct with Waterbed, a 40 minute offering of lofi instrumentals. With a name like Waterbed and a production moniker that alludes to riding waves, it’s only right that you enjoy this one seaside or in a pool or in a hot tub. The choice is yours.
